Mission

The Virginia Commonwealth University Alumni Association will advance the university by building active support, commitment, involvement and recognition of alumni, students, faculty, business and community partners.

The VCU Alumni Association is a community. It's a group of people who have a VCU experience, who care about the university, who wish to support it and who want to stay connected to it. People like you.

Those alumni who serve on the boards and who make decisions about what the association does are the community's cruise directors. We're here to make sure you get the most from your VCU experience - using tools like events, activities and communications - for as long as you'd like to keep in touch.

The VCU Alumni Association is in the business of developing relationships with alumni, students, parents and friends by providing meaningful services, tangible benefits and engaging programs that inform, educate and inspire.

What we do:

• Act as a conduit for alumni to connect with classmates, friends and the university's resources
• Provide "active alumni exclusive" social, networking, career and ongoing education programs
• Strengthen ties among the university and alumni, students, parents and friends of VCU
• Serve as a gateway or front door for VCU, with alumni welcoming new students and their parents, as well as helping graduates leverage the alumni community's skills, resources, and guidance
