Pre-game social begins at noon
Game time - 1:30 p.m.
The VCU D.C. Metro Area Alumni Chapter, the Metro Richmond VCU Alumni Chapter and the VCU Alumni Association, will host a pre-game social in the Jefferson Suites/Party Suites 31-33 at Nationals Park prior to the baseball game between the Washington Nationals and their area rivals the Baltimore Orioles. The social will include hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ baked beans, cole slaw, desserts, soft drinks, and a cash bar. After the social alumni can either watch the game from their stadium seat location or remain in the suite (click here for suite location).
Attention Richmond Area Alumni
The VCU Alumni Association will also organize a bus trip to the game for Richmond area alumni who are interested in traveling to Washington, DC together.
We will meet at 9 a.m. for a continental breakfast at Home Team Grill (11351 Nuckols Rd in Glen Allen, 804-967-9060). The cost is $25 per person and breakfast is included.
The bus will depart at 10 a.m. and alumni can leave their cars at the restaurant.
Price Per Person:
$53 - includes pre-game social & mezzanine level tickets (sect. 239, rows A-D)
$79 - includes pre-game social & field level reserved tickets (sect. 134 U, rows HH-KK)

Registration for this event is now closed.
Ticket Distribution:
Breakfast/Bus Trip Registrants – Gordon McDougall, Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations, will ride the bus from Richmond and will distribute the tickets upon arrival in D.C.
Other Registrants – Your tickets will be available for pick up on game day after 11:30 a.m. at the stadium’s will call window located just left of the main center field gate at Half and N Streets.

Breakfast and Bus Information:
We will meet at 9 a.m. for a continental breakfast at Home Team Grill (11351 Nuckols Road in Glen Allen, 804-967-9060). Will we begin to board the bus at 9:45 a.m. and departure will be at 10 a.m. sharp.
If you miss the bus and decide to drive to the game, we will leave your ticket for you at the will call window, however, we cannot offer a refund for the breakfast or bus trip. We will not have any game tickets to sell during the breakfast.
The stadium has a designated area for charter bus drop off and pick up (1st Street SE & Potomac Avenue).
Party Suite Information:
Our pre-game social will be in the stadium's Jefferson Suites/Party Suites 31-33. Your ticket packet will contain two types of tickets (regular game tickets and party suite tickets). To enter the pre-game social you will use your party suite ticket (the larger of the two tickets) and following the instructions below:
1) Enter through the main center field gate and head to your right.
2) Take either the ramp or escalator up to the Jefferson Suite level (if anyone requires an elevator, it is located further down the concourse)
3) If you are taking the ramp or escalator, the first three suites you will see (Party Suites 31-33) is where our pre-game social will take place.
4) If you need to leave tickets for someone in your group who hasn’t arrived when you receive your tickets you will need to make your own arrangements at the will call window.
* FYI – the stadium made an error and printed "Los Angeles Dodgers" on the Party Suite tickets instead of "Baltimore Orioles," however, the stadium assured me that the tickets will scan properly upon entering.
