Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter
Many VCU alumni reside in the Richmond metropolitan area. To create and support local alumni activities, the VCU Alumni Association has formed the Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter.
The chapter's primary purpose is to promote VCU and foster positive relationships between alumni and the university. The chapter provides a mechanism for involving alumni in the life of the university through volunteer activities in support of students and the university community, communications, networking activities and, most importantly, membership in the VCU Alumni Association.
Some of the activities the Greater Richmond Alumni Chapter have participated in this year include

volunteering at the Suntrust Richmond Marathon

volunteering at the Ukrop's/Monument Avenue 10K

assisting with the VCU Alumni Association's annual Hoops event at Homecoming
The chapter also meets monthly from August to May of every year.
